So often we think of things we can give up during the Lenten Season; well here is something we welcome you to take on…
Please join us for a cup of soup in the Friendship Room anytime between
5:30-6:30pm on Wednesday nights during Lent, beginning March 13th.
Homemade soups will be provided by members of Immanuel. If you are
interested in providing bread or cheese & crackers to go along with it, there is a sign-up sheet outside Pastor Rich’s office.
In an effort to keep it simple so everyone can make it to worship on time, we will be using disposable cups and spoons; however, you are welcome
to bring your own eating utensils that you can take home with you to wash if you so choose.
In addition, prior to the service, we’d like to invite you to spend some quiet time of prayer and reflection in the sanctuary from 6:30 – 7:00pm. During our time of worship together, Pastor Rich will continue leading us through his study of the book of Romans.
We hope you can join us as we fill our bodies and souls during this season of Lent. Donations collected during “Soup and Solitude” will support “One Great Hour of Sharing”
