Immanuel is excited to be making disciples in God’s Kingdom by being the sole supporters for Pastor Novahu Valluri and his wife, Manjula, who serve as missionaries in India, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ into some of the more remote villages. In these villages, it is common for children to be abused or used for slave labor or prostitution. They are not allowed to have an education. Women are mistreated and abused by their husbands. Christianity is looked down upon, and most people in these remote villages have never even heard the name of Jesus Christ. With the help of members and friends of Immanuel Church, the ministries under Novahu’s care include a Mobile Bible School, free education public school, cutting and tailoring centers for women, and an orphanage.
